LYSERØD is based on a careful selection of 11 different organic teas, which are brewed at different temperatures and time intervals. The blend is combined in one bottle, together with a small base of grape must and a dash of lemon juice.

TASTING NOTES

LYSERØD is the driest version of Sparkling Tea to date. However, still creates a velvet like feel, thanks to white Silver Needle tea. It holds a long finish and high complexity, created by the two different types of Oolong tea. Combined with discrete fruity notes from the hibiscus and sencha.

LYSERØD is great as a dry aperitif or throughout the whole meal. It is especially suitable for light dishes from the salty kitchen, such as fish, seafood, and charcuterie. 

Best served at 5 degrees in a champagne glass.

FOOD PAIRING 

LYSERØD pairs beautifully with light dishes within the salty kitchen. It goes especially well with seafood and particularly oysters. When the sun is out, it’s a sure hit!

Copenhagen Sparkling Teas are all made from a cuvee of teas made exactly the same way you make a cuvee of grapes when producing champagne. They only use high quality organic teas, from the delicate white teas to the more intense and full-bodied black teas.

SPARKLING TEA is a new innovative beverage category developed by the Danish award-winning sommelier Jacob Kocemba. To extract the perfect flavour from the teas, the leaves soak in both hot and cold water for an extensive period of time. To create an exclusive experience of taste, they work with small, carefully selected tea manufacturers, and they use only natural organic ingredients.
